Hi, a lot has happened since Edmund went into training.

Black Labrador, Edmund wearing a blue Guide Dogs jacket
I am so pleased to report that Edmund passed and started working in December 2010.
He is now a trusted companion to Peter and is Peter’s second guide dog.
Peter tells me Edmund works so well he feels as though Edmund has always been in his life.
Peter has kept his retired dog and also has a pet dog and cats, Edmund has taken well to all of them.
He now goes by the name of ‘ Eddie’
Yes I did buy a huge box of tissues when he went, but Peter has been very thoughtful and has been sending us updated photo’s of Edmund, so we can see how well he has settled into his new life.
My last blog update told you we were going to get a new pup called ‘ Zag’ well that didn’t happened , we got one called Arny’ instead. ( a beautiful yellow lab )
Arny flew through his puppy walking and is now on his advanced training in Surrey. I ashamed to say I have not kept up with the blog for him , I should have, but unfortunately other issues dictated otherwise. But I am back again now ( sorry )
We are puppy walking Breck at the moment and he is now 8months old. He is a very handsome retriever.
I shall get my son to sort through the many photos of Arny and Breck, and ask him to put them on the blog for you. I do feel so guilty about not giving either Arny or Breck the same coverage on the blog as I did Edmund, but I assure you neither of them have been loved less.
Infact Arny was always sneaking up for lovely snuggles on the floor and we are hoping to hear from his trainer soon, so we can go see him in his final stages of training.
Breck is feeling a little sorry for himself, as he is not allowed to play with his buddies at the moment. He was castrated on the 1st and as the vets did outside stitching, he has to wear a cone for 2 weeks.
Arny was castrated at the Tolgate centre and they did internal stitches and glue, wich meant he didnt need a cone and he healed realy fast.
Looking at Breck he looks like some one has practiced blanket stitching on him poot love.
He is very very bruised too, I shall be having words when we see the vet on Monday!
Well I best leave you to read this essay, again my apologies for leaving it so long.
